MMA

Oswestry Martial Arts Centre is home to MMA club and fight team Freefighters MMA whose students compete all over the country from amateur to professional level. www.freefighters.co.uk

 
 MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is the modern form of Pankration, a blend of wrestling and kickboxing that was the premier event at the Olympics for nearly a thousand years in ancient Greece and Rome.

Modern MMA has a huge following from amateur club level to full-time professional athletes fighting in events such as the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Champioinships).

 Ju-Jitsu / Karate Kumite

Instructor Mark Gerrard will run Bushin Ju Jitsu for kumite (competition) in classes that allow juniors and seniors to train at the same time. 

This is a great way for parents and children to bond through shared learning and development.
Only £4 for seniors and £3.50 for juniors

  Judo

4^th Dan Judo Coach Geoff Moore will be bringing this top Olympic sport back to Oswestry. 

He has a vast experience in Judo and other martial arts and has been a champion at local, regional and national level.

                   Combat Circuits 4 Ladies

This  ladies only fitness class is run by Freefighters MMA coach Kev Tinsley and uses a range of circuits used by MMA fighters to get in shape.
Ideal for those wanting something a little more interesting and challenging then combat aerobics or boxercise.
Great value at £12.50 a month for one 45min workout per week.

Little Ninjas / Kids Kickboxing / Adults Kickboxing
